Growth = Innovation + Marketing
Innovate on everything between the ad and the sale until the machine wastes nothing. Then tip your dollar into marketing and know it comes back.
How I think about technology, and the tools I put to work. Steal all of it.
Your business runs on repeatable processes. The same steps, over and over. That’s exactly where technology earns its keep.
Start with a CRM you own: one place that captures every lead, runs every process and grows with your business. Then give the people making the decisions their own agents. An extension of how they work.
You don’t need to 100x your team. Imagine making every person just 1.5x more effective.
Innovate on everything between the ad and the sale until the machine wastes nothing. Then tip your dollar into marketing and know it comes back.
Every step is either an edge or a leak. Edges stack. The most efficient operator gets bigger, faster, and everyone else has to outspend you just to keep up.
Needs judgement? Keep it with people. Same every time? Make it a system. Does not need to happen? Delete it. Do that across the whole business.
Not blended. Go granular. CAC, LTV, payback, retention, cost to serve, cut by channel, product and salesperson. Know them at this level and you decide fast at any size.
Go beyond the chat window.
Put the coding agents and background workers to work.
The ecosystem, not just ChatGPT
People hear ChatGPT and stop there. The real leverage is the whole stack. ChatGPT for thinking, Codex for building software in your terminal or IDE, and the Agents SDK to wire your own agents together. Start in the chat, then grow into the rest.

My pick for writing, thinking and building. But Claude is more than the chat. Claude Code builds real software from plain English, Claude Desktop sits on your machine, and Cowork runs longer tasks in the background and reports back. This is where I spend most of my time.
Explore AnthropicxAI · my pick for a personal agent
The easiest way I have seen to spin up agents, and where I would tell most operators to start. Each Bot is a named teammate that lives on its own cloud computer with a browser, files and a terminal. It signs into your real tools like Google Workspace, Slack and GitHub, keeps working when your laptop is off, and only comes back when it needs your call.
Explore Grok BotWired deep into the Google stack, so if your business already lives in Workspace it has reach the others do not. Built to chew through huge amounts of context in one go.
Explore GeminiNous Research
Open source and self hosted. It remembers, learns skills, runs scheduled jobs, and works from your terminal or straight out of a chat app like Telegram. The pick if you want to own and shape every part of your agent.
Explore Hermes AgentOpen source
An autonomous agent you run on your own machine and drive from WhatsApp, Telegram or Discord. Your assistant, your machine, your rules. The one for people who want to own the whole thing.
Explore OpenClawBring your agent into the tools your business already uses.
An agent gives you leverage. A system gives you a business. This is the blueprint I would hand someone starting today.
Give it to an AI coding agent and build a CRM on your machine, in your accounts, with your keys. Team logins, lead intake, two-way SMS and agent access, built in from day one.
A good tech person alongside you helps make the foundation reliable. From there, build around how your business actually works.
