YOUR DATA.
YOUR CALL.

What you send me

Ask Josh: your name, email, question, and optionally a topic and Instagram handle. You choose whether your question and name can be shared publicly.

Pitch a venture and Business plan: your name, email, phone number, the details you provide about your business, and any links or documents you attach.

Newsletter: your email address.

What’s collected automatically

Form submissions record the time, IP address and browser type so spam and abuse can be filtered out.

The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, requested page and time, to deliver the site and keep it secure.

This site doesn’t run advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts, and doesn’t set advertising cookies.

How it’s used

To read and respond to what you sent, and to let you know when a question has been answered.

Ask Josh questions may be answered publicly on Instagram. Your name and question are only shared if you agreed to that on the form.

Your details aren’t sold, rented or passed to anyone for marketing.

Who handles it

The site is hosted on Amazon Web Services. Form submissions are delivered to Joshua by email through Mailgun. These providers process the data only to run the site and deliver those messages, and may do so outside Australia.

Links to other websites, including Joshua’s ventures, Instagram, GitHub and WhatsApp, lead to services with their own privacy policies.

Keeping and removing it

Submissions are kept for as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of the conversation.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what you’ve sent at any time. Get in touch through the Ask Josh form or the WhatsApp link at the bottom of any page and it will be handled promptly.
